About Dr. Steve
Dr. Stephen Wechsler | Board Certified Chiropractor
A 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Wechsler has been in practice as a Chiropractor and holistic consultant at his present location in Syracuse, NY for over 35 years.
He works in conjunction with the Holistic Center of CNY covering many holistic therapies as well as traditional treatment.
He has taught Network Chiropractic seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada and gives talks, lectures and speeches to various groups on health and wellness.
For most of his life, Dr. Steve has not only devoted himself to his practice, but also to his and other's fulfillment of their human potential. With an open heart and a tendency for being of service, Dr. Steve has an untenable curiosity and drive to make the lives of everyone around him better.
While he is a certified Chiropractor, his studies of various schools and methodologies for self development and human potential make him a gift for the lives he touches in the Central New York community.
Before coming to Syracuse, Dr. Steve was a staff member of Anthony Robbins motivational seminars participating in over 20 seminars and events. Now, he is an active participant in the Landmark Forum and organizes opportunities for anyone who asks to get to know this life changing work and community.
Dr. Steve has traveled to India on several occasions to study Spiritual matters and Ayurveda, which he offers as part of his holistic practice at Network Healing Arts and his role with Simply Ayurveda, presenting Mind/Body seminars occasionally throughout the U.S, Canada, France, and India.
He also holds a Mind/Body Medicine certificate from the Sharp Institute and the Chopra Center which were presented by Deepak Chopra.
He currently studies with Drs. Smita and Pankaj Naram.
Dr Steve was also Radio Host of Wake Up with Dr. Stephen Wechsler on WSYR for six years and co-host on WSYR the Nutritional Insight Show for two years.
Besides offering treatment for body pains, educating his patients on holistic health for the mind, body, and soul, and telling stories that start with "Back in my day...", Dr. Steve volunteers as Ski and Bike Patrol at Greek Peak, and currently runs an adaptive downhill bike program.
In the winter, you can find Dr. Steve figuring out how to sleep in sub-zero weather with survival courses, and in the summer, lounging on his sail boat on Lake Skaneateles.
He also thinks he is very funny.
